AMOLOCK® – Care instructions
How to properly care for our carpet tiles! How to maintain your Amolock tiles
Amolock products are not only quick to install, but also impress with their low maintenance and care requirements in the domestic as well as commercial or industrial sector.
Clean in a jiffy
The plastic tiles from Amolock are basically very easy to clean and maintain. Everyday dirt can usually be easily removed with a hoover and a damp mop. Cleaning with a cleaning machine is also possible. Always consult the respective data sheet from the download area in the service header to benefit from an optimal care result. As a general rule, regular cleaning is better and more effective than infrequent deep cleaning.
Stubborn Dirt
For stubborn dirt, you can use appropriate care products. Please only use cleaning agents that are tailored to the use for the corresponding floor and do not use abrasive agents , alkalis or solvents. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and comply with health and safety instructions.
Despite their high resistance to oils, petrol and other substances derived from crude oil, Amolock PVC tiles should be cleaned immediately after contamination by these substances. Also note that the tiles made of PVC may become discoloured if they come into contact with rubber wheels. When laying vinyl tiles from the First Eco, First Design Eco and Grand collections , we therefore recommend the use of a two-component polyurethane coating to protect the tiles from colour changes and stains if the tiles are driven over.
The tiles of the Easy Classic, Easy Design and Easy Wood collections can be easily removed for cleaning if necessary. Cleaning with a water hose or high-pressure cleaner is also possible with these products if the substrate is impermeable to water.
” Top quality, easy installation and a wide range of rich colours make Amolock tiles a practical and easy-to-clean product”. Tobias Moschner CEO
IMPORTANT!
Despite the high resilience of Amolock plastic tiles, some points should be observed during maintenance. For example, as a matter of principle, you should not use any agents not intended for cleaning PVC or polypropylene, and you should also avoid contact with sharp-edged objects that are harder than PVC or polypropylene.
When using chair castors on the PVC tiles, use castors made of soft plastic with a hard core or PET protective pads for mobile furniture. Do not use rubber covers. Protect the floor by using PVC or polyethylene glides. Contact of hot or glowing objects should always be avoided.
